Tornado warning cancelled for San Miguel and Harding Counties

A tornado warning that was issued for rural areas of San Miguel and Harding Counties in eastern New Mexico has been cancelled.

Doppler radar indicated a tornado and golf ball size hail about 14 miles south of Mosquero. The storm was moving southeast at 15 miles per hour.

Those who are in the path of this storm can expect large hail. Damage to trees, roofs, windows and mobile homes are also possible with this storm.

You should move to shelter if you are in the warning area.
