JULY 28 – 30 BEGINNINGS AND ENDINGS 4
This workshop differs from the other three ‘Beginnings and Endings’ in July as we are more or less at the end of the summer truffle period which is therefore not part of this programme. Otherwise cooking content remains the same with a concentration on the vast and varied selection of Tuscan Antipasti, First Courses and Desserts which take in pasta, filled and not, seasonal sauces, risotto, potato gnocchi, crespelle, lasagne.
On the middle day we will be out in the beautiful local countryside visiting our favourite cheese makers, wine producers and other gastronomic treasures.
As always we will be cooking some, pausing for a cooling dip in the pool, eating some, cooking some more, sampling a local Chianti, putting the finishing touches to our light supper on which we will feast by candlelight in the garden.
